Donations

Financial Donations

We greatly value the generosity of community members who help us achieve our mission: ensuring equal access to information, fostering a love of reading, inspiring lifelong learning, and promoting engagement with the arts, sciences, and humanities. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact on the programs, services, and resources we are able to offer.

The Libraryโ€™s Executive Assistant helps guide our vision and philanthropic priorities, ensuring that donations directly support areas of greatest need โ€” from expanding our book collections and digital resources to creating inclusive programs for all ages. To learn more about our goals, and how you can make a difference through a direct gift or by including the Library in your estate plans, please review our Gift and Donation Policy and contact us at 02 311 5177 or kliment@nubsk.edu.mk.

The Friends of the Library โ€œSt. Kliment Ohridskiโ€ also welcome donations and membership support. Contributions allow the Friends to enhance library programs, sponsor special events, and support improvements to our facilities.

Book Donations

We welcome select book donations that help enrich our collections and provide readers with fresh and diverse materials. Your donated books can find new life in our shelves, community programs, or special sales organized by the Friends of the Library. These contributions not only support literacy and education but also help raise funds for library improvements and events.

Book donations are accepted only during designated collection hours, with the assistance of our dedicated Friends Volunteers. This ensures we can properly sort and process materials to best serve the community. Please check our posted donation schedule or contact the library for exact times before bringing items.

For safety and quality control, we kindly ask that no books be left outside the library, in the return slot, or on the steps. Items left outside of approved times will unfortunately need to be recycled or discarded. If you wish to donate but cannot visit during collection hours, we encourage you to recycle them through your local collection point or share them with schools, community centers, or other literacy initiatives.

By donating books, you help us preserve the joy of reading, provide more choices to our visitors, and ensure that every page has a chance to inspire someone new.
